In all my 29 years of living, I’ve never been that single girl who would cry her eyes out on Valentines Day. Sure, I was definitely single (and somewhat nerdy af) but Valentines day was always just another day to me. I don’t need this day to remind me how loved I am by my family and friends, I already feel the love almost everyday.

There are those super romantic couples that live their lives like the Notebook and then there are couples that are more like me – laid back. As you can probably tell, I’m not big on the overly sappy love stories. You don’t need to go all out on Valentines day with the rose peddles, cause who’s gonna clean all that up!?
